Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Senior / Project Engineer to support the full execution of electrical and instrumentation projects, from planning and design to installation, testing, and commissioning. The role involves close coordination with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery according to schedule, budget, and quality standards. The candidate will assist project manager to supervising site works, managing materials, monitoring progress, and resolving technical issues while maintaining compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and liaise with clients, main contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, and sub-subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of site works and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and tools.
- Assist the Project / Site Manager in planning, monitoring, and reporting project progress to ensure works are completed according to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Supervise and ensure all installation, commissioning, and testing works are carried out in accordance with approved shop drawings, method statements, Project Quality Plan, specifications, and relevant standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, update progress status, and provide technical advice to the project team and management.
- Manage material control, including Bill of Materials preparation, purchase requisitions, receipt, issuance, and tracking for installation.
- Support project handover, ensuring timely completion within approved cost and quality targets.
Qualifications and Work Experience
- Diploma holders in relevant engineering and minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledge of Singapore health, safety and environmental regulations will be an advantage
- Capable of reading electrical drawings and schematics
- Good interpersonal, planning, analytical and problem-solving skill
- Knowledge in BIM / AutoCAD skills will be an advantage
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good Microsoft office knowledge and skil
