The North-South & East-West Lines (NSEWL) Power Supply Upgrading Project (R153A) in Singapore was implemented to enhance the reliability, resilience, and operational efficiency of the traction power network. The initiative aimed to achieve faster recovery from electrical faults and improved system performance through advanced fault mitigation, digital monitoring, and control system modernization.

Solution & Implementation
Concord provided specialized expertise in the upgrading and installation of traction power supply systems and associated electrical works. The scope encompassed the delivery and installation of key equipment such as transformers and switchgears, along with extensive cable laying, termination, testing, and commissioning across eight Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) stations. Through technical precision and quality execution, Concord ensured smooth implementation within a live operating environment. The project was successfully completed in 2024.
Results & Value
The project strengthened the reliability and modernization of Singapore’s rail power infrastructure, supporting LTA’s long-term commitment to a safer, more efficient, and sustainable rail network.
