The Sunseap Solar Project (SN4) forms part of Singapore’s national SolarNova Programme, a joint initiative by the Housing & Development Board (HDB) and the Economic Development Board (EDB) to accelerate solar adoption across public housing estates and government buildings. This phase involved the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems with a total capacity of 70 MWp, representing a 40% increase over the previous SolarNova tender. Solar panels were deployed across more than 1,200 HDB blocks and 49 government sites, contributing significantly to Singapore’s clean energy transition by offsetting approximately 42,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.

Solution & Implementation
Concord Corporation undertook the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) system works, encompassing the design, supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of grid-tied solar PV systems. The project was completed in 2021.
Results & Value
The project underscores Concord’s capability in delivering large-scale renewable energy solutions and its continued contribution to Singapore’s sustainability and carbon reduction goals.
